The Better Business Bureau Keeps Tabs on Cannabis Businesses

Now Offering Information on Cannabis Companies in the US

Since earlier this year, the Better Business Bureau has begun to monitor cannabis businesses. This means that individuals interested in purchasing cannabis or related products in the United States can now refer to the BBB for details on specific companies.

On the BBB website, you can now access listings of various cannabis companies. This development allows for the tracking, rating, and reporting of cannabis businesses. Even if a company is not accredited, you can still consult the BBB for information about them. If there are any complaints regarding a cannabis or related business, the BBB is currently one of the primary sources where you can find such information.

While the American cannabis industry lacks federal regulation, the BBB can offer insights on businesses within its purview. If you are unable to find information on the BBB, you can also consider checking commercial review platforms like Google reviews. Given the industry’s lack of regulation, the BBB recommends reaching out to the cannabis business directly and asking pertinent questions. If a company struggles to address basic inquiries concerning safety and quality control, it is generally advisable to seek alternative businesses.

Recent reports from California indicate a rise in police raids targeting illicit cannabis enterprises. With the black market for cannabis still thriving, authorities have confiscated over $30 million from illegal cannabis outlets.
