Thanksgiving travel season is coming up and many people are looking for a deal for a vacation.

If you want to get the best deal, booking further in advance can save you money and avoid the stress of a last-minute hassle.

If you have a flexible vacation schedule this year and you want to go where your money takes you the farthest, some cities have great offers if you book ahead. Google’s travel trends tool lists the best cities with the cheapest hotel rates for Thanksgiving. Coming in on top, Rome, Italy offers travelers huge savings for Thanksgiving vacation. A hotel room in Rome is going for $104 per night, which saves you 35% off the regular price. While Rome may be known for it’s beautiful culture and architecture, it’s now the cheapest destination for Thanksgiving vacation-goers.

Second on the list, there’s Las Vegas, Nevada. If you’re looking for a bit more fun, this destination offers hotel rooms for $121 per night, a 34% savings. Rounding up the top five, Dublin, Bali, and New York City offer the largest savings. Of course, New York City is still a pricey option at $318 per night, but Bali is a great choice if you want to travel far. Hotels in Bali offer rooms for an average of $73 per night.
