Do you think you have the best job in the world? Well, if you think so, you should consider yourself lucky, as many people hate having to get up and go to work somewhere they’d rather not be. If, however, you are a recent graduate or are currently job-searching, here are the best jobs going into 2019 as reported by glassdoor.com. The results are based on earning potential (which is based on median base salary). The number of job openings and reported job satisfaction were also taken into account.

Data scientist made it right to the top of the list. With a healthy six-figure median base salary of $108,000, a data scientist’s earning potential is without question. The field also boasts a fairly high job satisfaction score at 4.3/5.

Managers appear to be doing well across American industries. Managers in nursing, marketing, development, and human resources all made it on the top ten. Managers in many other fields are present on the list. Various engineering and healthcare-related jobs dominate the top 50 overall.
