What To Do If Budgeting is Not For You!

Keeping a detailed budget can be one of the best ways to manage your money. However, not everyone has the time and or desire to sit down with a complicated spreadsheet or a regular basis. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to keep track of your money with just a little bit of effort.

To start, one of the most important things is to make sure that all of your needs are covered. You can start by listing your regular monthly bills such as rent, mortgage, utilities, and then add them all up.

Then move on and estimate your other necessary expenses like groceries and transportation. Add these up and you have your baseline of what you need to cover every month. To make things easy you can set up automated payments you just have to make sure you have enough money in your account to cover these withdrawals.

But, if you are still finding yourself overspending, then you might want to start tracking your purchases. A simple way to do this is to use a single debit or credit card for your purchases this way you have only one monthly statement. Another great tip is to set alerts when your account balance has fallen under a certain amount. This will also help you keep track of your spending and when to take it slow.

So, in order to keep a budget without the hassle, be sure to follow these tips and check out the video above for more great examples.
