Most of you probably have a membership to your favorite warehouse store where you shop to save….everyone likes to save right? Shopping at warehouse stores is known as the Costco effect, but not everything in the big box stores are a good deal.
Yes, believe it or not some of those items you think you may be saving on are actually a rip-off! Researchers have gone into stores such as Costco with an app that allows you to scan the barcode on the item you are looking to purchase and see competing prices at stores in your area.
In most cases Costco’s prices were a great deal, however, there were some items such as Tide and cereal where you are getting no deal at all! Check out what other items were not a good deal in the video above!
