How Empathy Can Be Good For Business

There is a major and fundamental difference between being a successful business owner, and being a good business owner. Sometimes, all you need is a little luck, and a little ‘being in the place and the right time’ energy. But, what is also helpful for a business is customer service. Empathy and solid customer service seem to be two dying archetypes of businesses these days, as many owners strive for money rather than ethics or community impact.

In this segment, Michael Ventura, entrepreneur and CEO of award-winning strategy and design practice Sub Rosa, shares how empathy—the ability to see the world through someone else’s eyes could be what your business needs to innovate, connect, and grow. That means having the ability to adapt while remaining empathetic to your business partners, employees and the industry as well.
