## Bob Iger Requests Remote Disney Employees to Return to Office

Since the peak of the COVID-19 outbreak, numerous large corporations in the United States have adopted a hybrid work approach. This model allows employees to choose whether to work in the office or remotely according to their preferences. However, as pandemic restrictions ease, many companies are now calling for their staff to return to the office. The most recent company to do so is Disney.
This week, Bob Iger, who resumed his role as Disney CEO in November, instructed remote employees to return to the office starting from March 1. According to an email from Iger, which was obtained by CNBC, all Disney employees are required to spend at least four days a week working in the office.
“Employees who are currently working in a hybrid manner will need to be present on-site for four days a week, with a focus on Monday through Thursday as the days for in-person work,” stated Iger.
“As I’ve met with teams across the company in recent months, I’ve been reminded of the immense value in working together with your colleagues,” Iger remarked. “As I’ve emphasized many times, creativity is at the core of who we are and what we do at Disney. In our creative industry, nothing can replace the ability to collaborate, observe, and innovate alongside your peers in person. Likewise, the chance to advance professionally by gaining insights from leaders and mentors is irreplaceable.”
